LAPRAS has formed a business partnership with South Korea’s Skywill International to introduce global talent to Japanese companies through its LAPRAS Global Bridge overseas recruitment service, the Tokyo-based company said on August 17.<\/p>\n

The tie-up with Skywill, which is based in Busan and supports job placement and recruitment outsourcing for the global aviation industry, opens a new channel for hiring candidates with strong language ability, communication skills and hospitality capabilities.<\/p>\n

LAPRAS said the partnership would strengthen support for Japanese companies seeking immediately deployable global talent. Demand in Japan has risen for workers who combine high English proficiency and other language skills with the ability to communicate effectively in organizational and customer-facing settings, as companies increase overseas hiring in response to severe domestic labor shortages.<\/p>\n

Skywill is a specialized education academy and recruitment agency for aviation-industry jobs and career changes in South Korea. It has handled recruitment outsourcing in South Korea for airlines including Oman Air, Garuda Indonesia and Saudia, and offers English interview preparation and mock interview programs using GPT-based AI, the company said.<\/p>\n

The agreement expands LAPRAS’s coverage of the Busan area, South Korea’s second-largest city, as well as the wider Gyeongsang region. LAPRAS has previously built a supply network for highly skilled engineers in South Korea through partnerships with practical STEM education platforms and major agencies, and the Skywill alliance extends that pipeline into roles requiring language ability and customer service skills.<\/p>\n

LAPRAS Global Bridge matches overseas job seekers aiming to work in Japan with Japanese hiring companies. LAPRAS, founded in 2016, describes itself as a matching technology company that uses AI and web-crawling technologies to reshape conventional recruitment models.<\/p>\n

Japan has faced persistent labor shortages as an aging population and low birthrate shrink the domestic workforce, prompting more companies to look abroad for hiring.
