Korean, Japanese restaurant in Cincinnati announces closure after 12 years<\/p>\n

An Oakley restaurant that specialized in Korean and Japanese dishes has officially announced its closure after more than a decade in business.<\/p>\n

Stone Bowl announced the closure on social media Monday, with the restaurant\u2019s owner planning a move to another state to reunite with family.<\/p>\n

The restaurant opened in 2014, serving ramen, sushi, Korean food and Japanese dishes to thousands of customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe leave with so many memories and with this place deeply rooted in our hearts. To everyone who walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, brought your family and friends, offered a kind word, gave us advice, laughed with us, worried about us, and sometimes simply treated our restaurant as a second home \u2014 thank you,\u201d a social media post from the owners said.<\/p>\n

The owners specifically mentioned the COVID-19 pandemic and how grateful they were that the community supported them during difficult times for small businesses.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe truly believe we could not have made it through that time without your support, encouragement, and kindness\u201d the post said.<\/p>\n

The restaurant closed its doors for good on Monday. <\/p>\n
