The chestnut is the third to face the starter from his New York-bred dam, winner in her racing days of the Joseph A. Gimma Stakes. This is the Gallagher’s female family of Adcat and Adorydar, etc. O-YM Horse; B-Clarkland Farm LLC (KY); T-Daishi Ito<\/p>\n

CINQ SENS (JPN) (f, 2, American Pharoah<\/a>\u2013Ellie’s Smile, by Tapit<\/a>) is the latest foal out of a half-sister to GSW & GISP Dust and Diamonds (Vindication), herself the dam of Japanese Horse of the Year and two-time divisional champion Do Deuce (Jpn) (Heart’s Cry {Jpn}), whose Group 1 conquests included the Arima Kinen, Japan Cup and Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby). Dust and Diamonds also produced MGSP Much Better (Pioneerof the Nile). The cross of American Pharoah<\/a> over Tapit<\/a> mares has resulted in 14 winners from 18 starters, including GISW Harvey’s Lil Goil. O-Forest Racing; B-Niikappu Hashimoto Bokujo; T-Minoru Oguri<\/p>\n

VERVE ELEVEN (c, 2, Jack Christopher<\/a>\u2013Turn and Bern, by Bernardini) cost $52,000 at this year’s OBS March Sale and is out of a half-sister to six other winners, including SW Hard To Stay Notgo (More Than Ready), the dam of two full black-type winners as well as a yearling colt by Cody’s Wish<\/a> that sold for $360,000 at the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale this past week. The female family includes MGSW\/MGISP Fed Biz (Giant’s Causeway) and GISW Joking (Distorted Humor). O-Atsushi Fujii; B-Chester & Mary R Broman (NY); T-Ken Kozaki<\/p>\n
