{"id":78870,"date":"2026-08-23T10:49:34","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T10:49:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/japan\/78870\/"},"modified":"2026-08-23T10:49:34","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T10:49:34","slug":"indian-industry-to-explore-collaboration-with-japanese-cos-hitachi-daikin-panasonic-omron-horiba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/japan\/78870\/","title":{"rendered":"Indian industry to explore collaboration with Japanese cos Hitachi, Daikin, Panasonic, Omron, HORIBA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A delegation of more than 220 stakeholders from Indian industry, led by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, will visit Japan from August 24 to 27 to deepen collaboration with their Japanese counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, Goyal will participate in a series of business engagements, including the Keidanren-JCCI Roundtable, a Nikkei Asia fireside chat on the India-Japan Next Generation Economic Partnership, and the India-Japan Investors Roadshow in Osaka.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Indian industry delegation are scheduled to visit the facilities of Hitachi Origin Park, the Daikin Technology and Innovation Center, Panasonic, Omron, HORIBA and other Japanese companies to facilitate direct industry-to-industry learning and identify potential areas for collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation will engage with Keidanren and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) in Tokyo, and hold discussions with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Japanese business organisations and investors. The discussions will focus on opportunities for Japanese companies in India and ways to promote greater two-way investment.<\/p>\n<p>The engagements will cover digital innovation, industrial transformation, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors and electronics. The visit to Hitachi Origin Park will focus on manufacturing excellence, sustainability and digital innovation. Dedicated sectoral roundtables are scheduled on semiconductors, AI and electronics, as well as capital goods, machinery, automotive and advanced manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>A start-up ecosystem delegation will engage with Japanese stakeholders through a dedicated start-up roundtable in Tokyo, alongside business-to-business meetings aimed at exploring commercial partnerships, technology collaborations and investment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation will also visit Japanese companies and innovation centres in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and other locations to gain insights into Japan&#8217;s approaches to technology, manufacturing and innovation.Programmes in Osaka and Kyoto will connect Indian companies with regional Japanese industry, while the Chukeiren and Nagoya Chamber of Commerce and Industry roadshow aims to broaden engagement with Japan&#8217;s regional business ecosystem and encourage Japanese companies to expand their presence and investments in India.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Indian delegation include:<\/p>\n<p>Anant Goenka, President, FICCI, and Vice Chairman, RPG Group<br \/>Nirmal K.
