Speedway that was home for eight years to Izumi Sushi Bar Seafood was the perfect canvas for their all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>On Aug. 8, the pair opened <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tucsontokyosushi.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tokyo Sushi,<\/a> a concept they thought up in a day and put into play 90 days later.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI started building the menu. Arizona Pavilions Drive off Interstate 10 and Cortaro Road in Marana.<\/p>\n<p>The space was home to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/barrospizza.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Barro\u2019s Pizza<\/a> for nine years before it <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tucson.com\/life-entertainment\/local\/food-drink\/article_fe09f1bc-e74d-11ef-b261-fb0eff55dc95.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">moved across the street<\/a> in February to the former Boston\u2019s Restaurant &amp; Sports Bar at 5825 Arizona Pavilions Drive; Boston\u2019s closed in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kirinasianbistrosushibar\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">upscale bistro<\/a> opened after a months-long extensive build-out that began last spring.<\/p>\n<p>Kirin blends \u201cthe rich traditions of Asian cuisine with a modern twist\u201d in an extensive menu of \u201cmasterfully crafted sushi, sashimi and innovative specialty rolls\u201d with a curated selection of classic Chinese, Thai and pan-Asian dishes, according to a description posted on the restaurant\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>Kirin is open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
