The agency stated that there is a possibility of excessive rainfall in various parts of eastern Japan due to the combined effect of a typhoon and a seasonal rain system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the Meteorological Agency, residents of Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Shizuoka, Aichi, and Mie have been urged to take special precautions. It is predicted that a linear rainband capable of causing excessive rainfall in a short period will develop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Due to such a rain system, a large amount of water can fall in a short time, and local residents have been urged to follow weather warnings and administrative instructions. The Meteorological Agency has warned of the risk of landslides, flooding in low-lying areas, and rising river water levels in some parts of eastern Japan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the agency, a seasonal rain system has been active in the south of Japan for a long time.
