Simtech, a semiconductor printed circuit board (PCB) company, recently announced its consolidated sales of 514.6 billion won in the second quarter, up 51.0% year-on-year and 21.8% quarter-on-quarter. Operating profit was 62.9 billion won, more than 10 times higher than the same period last year, and 358.7% higher than the previous quarter.

The securities industry cites Simtech as a representative beneficiary, saying that the expansion of AI data centers’ adoption of memory semiconductors is leading to the expansion of the memory package substrate market.

Park Kang-ho, a researcher at Daishin Securities, estimated, “Among semiconductor printed circuit board (PCB) companies, operating profit in the second half of 2026 will increase the most compared to the previous quarter.”

Kim Min-kyung, a researcher at Hana Securities, also predicted, “Simtech is supplying both SoCAMM-oriented MCP substrates and module PCBs, so its beneficiary strength will be higher than other substrate companies,” adding, “We will enjoy both volume and price increase based on high market share.”
