LG Uplus (032640.KS) is preparing a range of programs to support young adults, spanning everyday needs to arts and culture.

The company said on the 14th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Youth Foundation to support young adults. The agreement aims to find ways to help with the daily lives of young people and to expand opportunities for young artists to develop their talents.

The Youth Foundation is a public-interest organization that runs various support programs to help young adults grow and become self-reliant. The two organizations agreed to develop support measures for young people, including tailored benefits and services.

They will also cooperate to support the activities of young artists. LG Uplus will use its complex cultural space “Ilsang Bilsang” to give young artists opportunities to pursue a range of activities. The company also plans to run programs that let young people experience arts and culture.

Lee Chul-hoon, executive vice president and head of LG Uplus’ Communication Center, said the company wants to help young people experience more opportunities and discover new possibilities. “We will draw on LG Uplus’ strengths to steadily create new programs that benefit young adults,” he said.

Oh Chang-seok, chairman of the Youth Foundation, said support for young people must be something they can actually feel in their daily lives. “Together with LG Uplus, we will listen to the voices of young people and build programs that can help more of them,” he said.
