CK Solution, a company specializing in high-tech industrial refrigeration air conditioning and mechanical facility engineering, announced on the 14th that it has won an order to finish P5 Ph1 at Samsung Electronics’ Pyeongtaek plant.
“The contract size is about 30.8 billion won, and the contract period is until July 30 next year,” CK Solution said. “We expect more opportunities to participate in the business in subsequent fabs such as Samsung Electronics P5 Ph2~4 in the future.”
CK Solution added, “We plan to expand our order base not only at Samsung Electronics’ Pyeongtaek Campus, but also at Yongin Semiconductor Cluster National Industrial Complex and Southwestern Semiconductor Cluster recently announced by the government.”
CK Solution in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, was established in 2004 and is expanding its portfolio by conducting businesses such as semiconductor clean rooms, data center air conditioning, secondary battery dry rooms, bio clean rooms, defense, and nuclear power plants.
CK Solution said, “We won an order to expand Amco Technology Korea’s Songdo plant worth 12.3 billion won in February,” and predicted, “From the third quarter of this year, orders for large semiconductor fab-related projects will begin in earnest, including the P5 Ph1 finishing work at Samsung Electronics’ Pyeongtaek plant.”
CK Solution is also supplying dehumidifying rotors of Japan’s Nichias, the world’s No. 1 player, to Korea in the field of secondary battery dry rooms. It has major domestic battery manufacturers such as LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, and SK On as its customers.
