Smilegate’s global game platform “Stove” is participating as a gold sponsor in the “Busan Indie Connect (BIC) Festival 2026,” held at BEXCO in Busan until the 16th.
This year, Stove focused on going beyond simple platform exposure to support offline booth exhibitions by outstanding domestic and international developers and publishers on the platform. The company plans to demonstrate Stove’s role as a partner in the indie game ecosystem connecting creators and users, for both the developers and users taking part in BIC.
At BIC 2026, Stove is actively supporting offline booth exhibitions by its partner companies and presenting a lineup across various genres. China’s Thermite Games is exhibiting three titles — “House of Legacy,” “The Guidebook of Babel” and “Lone Star Hunter” — while LINE Games will unveil its new publishing title “A.S.S. (Amazing Slot Survival),” developed by Tumen Games, for the first time at the Smilegate booth. Darakbang Friends is also debuting its new title “The Reject Employee Min-a at a Game Company.”
Smilegate’s global publishing title “Alleyway: Return of the Soul” is also continuing to make progress. After being submitted to the BIC competition category last year, it was named a “Connect Pick” selected by the Big Connectors this year, earning recognition once again for its quality.
Online, Stove is running a “STOVE x BIC” collaboration page together with the Busan Indie Connect Festival organizing committee until the 28th of this month. About 70 exhibited titles are featured on the collaboration page. Users who cannot visit the offline venue can try demo games for free, and games that have been officially released and are on sale come with a 10% discount coupon, allowing users to enjoy the excitement of BIC online as well.
