Hyundai has confirmed that its new compact Ioniq 3 will launch with a starting price of £22,245.
Now available to reserve, the Ioniq 3 offers either a 42kWh or 61kWh battery, with the latter delivering up to 308 miles of range from a single charge.
Thanks to 800-volt architecture, the Ioniq 3 should be able to accept a very high rate of charge, though Hyundai has yet to disclose charge times. On the outside, the 3’s rounded body has been designed to offer the best-possible aerodynamic efficiency to help boost range.

Inside, the Ioniq 3 arrives as Hyundai’s first model to get its new Pleos Connect infotainment system, which is based on Android Automotive. It means that Google-based apps, such as Maps and Assistant, will come native to the screen, rather than having to be used via a smartphone connection.
All cars get a 12.9-inch infotainment system – some higher-spec cars get a larger 14.6-inch version – while both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included as standard. Other included features on entry-level Advance cars such as dual-zone climate control, smart key and adaptive cruise control build on a high level of standard equipment.

Further trims, such as Premium and Ultimate, add features such as 17-inch wheels and a 9.9-inch digital instrument cluster. Ultimate cars gain 18-inch wheels, matrix LED headlights and heated front seats, among other features. Premium-grade cars come in at £27,445, or £29,945 for the Ultimate.
At the top of the range sits the Ioniq 3 N Line Evo, which incorporates a range of sporty touches such as 19-inch N Line wheels, a full sports bodykit and the larger 14.6-inch infotainment display.
