One UI 9.5 isn’t available to anyone yet. There’s no beta, no stable build, and no download (at least not officially). Everything about it so far comes from leaked internal Samsung builds, mostly the CZH9 build running on Galaxy S26 test units. This page tracks what those builds have revealed, which devices are being tested, and when the software is realistically likely to arrive. We’ll keep it updated as we learn more.

No. Nothing on this page is official. Any announcement would show up on Samsung’s own One UI page first.
When will One UI 9.5 arrive?
Samsung hasn’t said, but One UI 8.5 gives us a real precedent. The company’s previous “point” release debuted with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026. Ahead of that, Samsung launched One UI 8.5 beta (full timeline below) for the S25 lineup. We expect a similar pattern with One UI 9.5. Beta rollout could begin later this year, followed by a stable debut with the Galaxy S27 series early next year.

Interestingly, Samsung’s One UI 9.5 development began more than a month earlier than One UI 8.5. Initial builds started appearing on its servers in early May. And like the last time around, we got the first real leak with visuals three months later, in early August.
However, this doesn’t necessarily mean Samsung will launch the Galaxy S27 series a month early too. We cannot directly determine Samsung’s 2027 flagship launch based on the current One UI 9.5 developments, although we are hopeful that beta testing will begin a bit early. As mentioned above, One UI 8.5 beta arrived in December 2025.

A lot depends on how quickly Samsung wraps up its One UI 9 rollout. The company is still beta testing the update, with more beta releases planned for a bunch of models. The stable update may arrive next month, starting with the Galaxy S26 series.
Additionally, early development could also mean that the stable One UI 9.5 rollout begins earlier. The One UI 8.5 rollout slipped more than once this year, finally arriving in May. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait as long next year.
Every One UI 9.5 feature spotted so far
We’ve seen a few upcoming One UI 9.5 features in the wild, which include an overall interface polish that now includes backdrop shading to buttons and widgets. Apart from that, the camera and fingerprint setup also see some makeover. One of our favorites so far is the native app lock and app mirroring, and while there’s no guarantee every feature will come with the update, it’s indeed exciting to see them in development.

Which devices will get One UI 9.5?
No list is official. What we can say is where the software has actually been seen running, or confirmed in testing:
Our One UI 9 eligibility list is the best guide until Samsung publishes its own. As a general rule, most of the devices in line for One UI 9 should also be in line for One UI 9.5. In fact, Samsung used to deliver these point updates to every model that received the previous major One UI release. However, starting with One UI 8.5, the company introduced a new system.
Earlier, the point releases shared the same Android base with the main version. But One UI 8.5 and One UI 8, while still based on Android 16, do not build on the exact same base. As such, Samsung didn’t push One UI 8.5 to devices reaching the end of their support period, like the Galaxy S22. Those devices received One UI 8, but not One UI 8.5.
Of course, we can’t tell if Samsung will continue this practice with One UI 9.5. But we will be sure to let you know when we have any related information.

Can I download One UI 9.5 right now?⌄
No. There’s no public beta and no stable release. Everything known about it comes from internal Samsung builds that leaked. Any site or video offering a One UI 9.5 download isn’t offering you real Samsung software.
When is the One UI 9.5 release date?⌄
Samsung hasn’t announced one. Based on how long One UI 8.5 took, a public beta is most likely between late October and December 2026, with it shipping on the Galaxy S27 in mid-January to February 2027 and reaching older Galaxy phones in spring 2027.
What is the difference between One UI 9 and One UI 9.5?⌄
Both run Android 17, but One UI 9 is shipping now, while One UI 9.5 is currently in the internal testing stage. It should debut on the Galaxy S27. If your phone has an update waiting today, it’s One UI 9, not 9.5.

No official list exists. Devices in line for One UI 9 should also be in line for the .5 release.
