Samsung Electronics’ wireless earphone “Galaxy Buds 4 Pro” has been recognized by global video and sound experts for its sound quality and call performance. This is the first time that the Galaxy Buds series has won the EISA Award.
On the 24th, Samsung Electronics announced that the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro was selected as the best product in the in-ear headphone category at the ‘EISA Awards 2026-2027’. The EISA Awards, which began in 1982, are selected by technology experts from more than 25 countries around the world by evaluating the performance and innovation of products.
The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro focused on implementing hi-fi sound that is faithful to the original sound. It has increased the effective area of speakers by about 20% compared to the previous generation, increasing the expressiveness of low notes and installing Twitter dedicated to high notes. It also supports 24-bit 96 ㎑ ultra-high-quality audio.
Noise blocking performance is also adjusted according to different ear shapes for each user. It is a method in which earphones optimize noise cancellation algorithms in real time after analyzing the user’s wearing condition and ear shape. It also improved wearability by utilizing more than 100 million ear data points and more than 10,000 wearing simulations around the world.
The call function has a ‘super clear call’. By combining a bone conduction-based vibration sensor and a noise reduction algorithm, the user’s voice is distinguished and delivered even in an environment where the surroundings are noisy.
In particular, the EISA jury highly evaluated the sound quality, call quality, and practicality of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro in various environments. “We implement clean sound and rich musical details without distortion through a two-way speaker structure equipped with dedicated amplifiers on Whoopers and Twitter, respectively,” said EISA Chairman Lyubisa Miodragovic.
“We have aimed to deliver the sound intended by the creator to consumers without distortion,” said Moon Han-gil, master of Samsung Electronics’ mobile experience (MX) division, adding, “We will continue to innovate technologies to provide richer listening experiences.”
