AI coding startup Machine Flow announced on the 25th that it has attracted seed investment from LG Electronics and Deep Tech Accelerator (AC) Blue Point Partners.
The investment comes after it was launched as an independent corporation through the in-house venture program “Studio 341” jointly operated by LG Electronics and Blue Point, and the size and corporate value of the investment are private.
MachineFlow goes beyond existing AI coding that only receives results, developers design the logic of code directly with “Logic Graph” and develop AI coding agents for companies that utilize various coding agents. CEO Kim Bong-sang has conducted AI research and development at Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics for more than 20 years, has research experience in machine learning laboratories at Toronto University, and has experience as a member of LG Electronics’ artificial intelligence research institute.
AI coding has recently emerged as a major growth field in the global AI industry. While SpaceX has decided to acquire AI coding tool cursor developer Anysphere for $60 billion this year, major AI companies such as OpenAI and Antropic are also paying attention to how to use and operate multiple agents in actual development sites beyond the performance of individual agents.
Machineflow allows developers to design the core structure of the project with a “logic graph” and, based on this, entrust more development tasks to AI coding agents. Once organized, the design and development experience can be used in the next work, and the goal is to create an AI multi-agent development environment for companies that quickly create bigger and more complex software with AI. In the future, it plans to expand and differentiate its use to industrial sites by combining development experiences accumulated in the manufacturing and physical fields.
Cha Woo-jin, Blue Point’s lead investigator, explained, “Machineflow is a team that can preempt a new core area of interagent orchestration in an environment where AI agents are rapidly spreading. We expect it to grow into a key company that builds a next-generation AI agent ecosystem.”
CEO Kim said, “I think the next competition for AI coding is more about how to entrust AI to develop and how to design the process, rather than a better model. I want Machine Flow to be a company that creates the new development method.”
