SK AX will join hands with SAP, a global corporate software company, to apply AI (Artificial Intelligence) to overall corporate operations. Beyond the establishment and operation of the enterprise-wide resource management (ERP) system, the company plans to expand its “AI Native Enterprise” business by redesigning its business process centered on AI.
SKAX announced on the 26th that it has signed a “MOU for SAP Automus Suite and Business AI cooperation” at SAP headquarters in Waldorf, Germany. SK AX CEO Kim Wan-jong, Chief Customer Officer (CCO) Son Gun-il, and SAP Korea CEO Shin Eun-young attended the signing ceremony. CEO Kim also met with SAP CEO Christian Klein to discuss detailed cooperation plans.
The two companies combine SAP’s enterprise AI technology with SKAX’s AI transition (AX) design and operation capabilities in industrial sites. The goal is to automate repetitive tasks and speed up decision-making and business processing by applying AI agents to overall corporate operations, including ERP.
SK AX will combine SAP’s “SAP Automus Suite,” an autonomous operating environment for AI agents, and its own “XgenticWire ERP Suite” with “SAP Business AI,” a corporate AI product line. Based on this, it plans to expand its business to corporate customers in each industry such as finance, manufacturing, and energy.
XgenticWire ERP Suite is an integrated service that applies AI from establishing ERP strategies to establishing, converting, and operating companies. It consists of ‘my Finance’, which supports financial automation and detection of anomalies, EAR Ops, which helps ERP operation, and EAR studios that support the design, development, and testing of ERP systems with AI.
AI is also used for field support and consulting. It provides forward deployment engineer (FDE) services that deploy engineers at customer sites and AI-based ERP conversion consulting “AIDE” and also applies AI agent-centered ERP construction methodology.
SK AX plans to register XgenticWire ERP Suite on SAP’s open platform ‘AI Agent Hub’ and supply it to global corporate customers. It will also participate in the Early Adapter Care (EAC) program, which uses SAP’s products first in actual work environments before official launch and then gives feedback.
“Based on strategic cooperation with SAP, SK AX and SK Group will first create leading AI-native enterprise success stories and spread them to domestic and global markets,” CEO Kim said.
