Hyundai Card said on the 26th that it has launched the NAVER Hyundai Card Edition3 with NAVER (035420). Cardholders can earn up to 15% of their spending at NAVER Store in NAVER Pay (Npay) points. The benefits stack when NAVER Plus Membership subscribers also use the card.

Membership subscribers earn 5% of their payment amount when shopping at the store, up to 15,000 points a month. During a double-rewards promotion running through July next year, they can earn 10% of the payment amount, up to 30,000 points.

Adding the existing membership benefits brings the total to as much as 15% of the payment amount in points. NAVER has offered membership subscribers rewards of up to 5% — 5% on monthly cumulative purchases of up to 200,000 won and 2% up to 3 million won. The structure allows for up to 66,000 points a month.

Benefits also apply at merchants outside the store, with a base reward of 0.5% of the payment amount. During the promotion period, the total reward there reaches 1%.

The card comes in three designs. The annual fee is 15,000 won, and details are available on the NAVER and Hyundai Card apps and websites.

The earlier NAVER Hyundai Card, launched in August 2021, has been issued more than 1.2 million times, driven by rewards reserved for NAVER Plus Membership subscribers and a range of shopping benefits. Users who combine the Hyundai Card with the membership spend 1.4 times more per month on average than those who use the membership alone.

“Building on its leadership in data science-based private label credit cards, the first of their kind in the world, Hyundai Card plans to develop its partnership with NAVER and pursue various collaborations to drive growth for both companies,” a Hyundai Card official said.
