Korea Investment Trust Management’s “ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategy Industry” exchange-traded fund (ETF) surpassed 300 billion won in net assets in just 15 days of listing.

Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 27th that the net assets of the ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategic Industry ETF exceeded 300 billion won.

According to the Korea Exchange, the net assets of the ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategy Industry ETF were 333 billion won as of the 26th, the previous day. This is the result of the inflow of funds, including net purchases by individual investors, since the listing on the 11th.

ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategic Industries ETF is a product that distributes investments in five strategic industries in Korea that have proven global competitiveness. The investment target industries are centered on semiconductors, shipbuilding, defense, and nuclear power, while the remaining one is selected by evaluating the size of the industry and government policies. Currently, the ‘humanoid (automobile) industry is included.

The reason why humanoids were selected as an additional strategic industry is growth potential. Global research institute Counterpoint predicts that global humanoid robot sales, which exceeded $500 million as of 2025, will increase to $4.4 billion in 2027. The fact that large-scale investments led by the government and the private sector were also reflected in the selection of strategic industries.

There are a total of 10 stocks incorporated into the ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategic Industry ETF, including two representative stocks for each industry. As of the previous day, Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, Hyundai Motor, Hanwha Aerospace, Doosan Energy, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, Hyundai Mobis, Hanwha Ocean, Korea Aerospace, and Hyundai Engineering & Construction were incorporated.

“ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategy Industry ETF is a product that focuses on representative semiconductor stocks that cannot be left out when investing in domestic stocks, while compressing representative stocks in shipbuilding, defense, nuclear and humanoid industries,” said Na Yong-soo, head of the ETF division of Korea Investment Trust Management.

“As we take an operation strategy that adds one strategic industry to the basic axis of semiconductor, shipbuilding, defense, and nuclear power, we can change our portfolio if new leading industries emerge in the future,” he said. “From an investor’s point of view, we can steadily invest in key companies in Korea’s strategic industries without directly analyzing various industries and stocks.”

The ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategy Industry ETF is a performance dividend type product, and principal losses may occur depending on the operation results.
