Samsung has officially taken the wraps off the Galaxy S26 FE, which succeeds last year’s Galaxy S25 FE. The new Fan Edition phone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor globally, so there’s no need to play the usual guessing game about which processor comes with the phone in each region.
The Galaxy S26 FE is powered by the same Exynos 2500 chipset found in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (review). Samsung unveiled the chipset in June 2025. Samsung has traditionally used both Snapdragon and Exynos processors in its FE phones, depending on the market, but that has changed in recent years. So, what exactly does the Exynos 2500 bring to the Galaxy S26 FE? Here we go.
All about the Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy S26 FE
The Exynos 2500 is built on Samsung’s 3nm GAA process. It features a deca-core CPU paired with an Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 3 architecture. Samsung also claims that the chipset’s NPU can deliver up to 59 TOPS of AI performance.

While the main processor is Samsung’s own, it still uses Qualcomm hardware for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. FCC documentation had already revealed this unusual combination, with Samsung’s System LSI hardware handling cellular connectivity and Qualcomm’s FastConnect handling WLAN duties. You can’t have your cake and eat it too, apparently.
