President Lee Jae Myung’s approval rating hit 30% for the first time since taking office, a poll showed.
According to a survey of 2001 men and women aged 18 or older nationwide from the 22nd to the 24th by Cho Won C&I, a polling agency, on the 26th at the request of Straight News, President Lee’s positive assessment of state administration was 38.9%. The negativity was 57.9% and the ignorance was 3.2%.
President Lee’s positive assessment was down 4.0 percentage points from the previous survey (August 8-10, 42.9 percent), while negative assessment was up 3.8 percentage points from 54.1 percent to 57.9 percent.
In the Cho Won C&I survey, President Lee’s positive evaluation of state administration was the highest at 66.1% in early April.
By age, negative evaluation was higher than positive evaluation in all age groups.
Those aged 18 to 29 were 30.1% positive and 62.9% negative, 33.1% negative, 65.8% negative, 43.3% positive, 56.3% negative, 40.9% negative, 56.3% positive, 44.2% negative, 53.3% negative, and 54.7% positive and over 70 years old.
In the party support survey, the Democratic Party of Korea was 43.9%, down 2.5% from the previous survey, and the power of the people was 37.3%, the same as the previous survey. The gap between the two parties has narrowed to 6.6 percent.
It was followed by 2.8% of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, 1.9% of the Reform New Party, 1.6% of other parties, 0.8% of the Progressive Party, 10.5% of none, and 1.1% of unknown.
The survey was conducted in an ARS poll (100% RDD method for mobile phones, randomized proportional allocation by gender, age group, and region).
