Ko Woo-seok, who was called by LG for the first nomination in 2017, is a right-hander who has played as a top closure in the KBO League until 2023. In 354 KBO games (368.1 innings), he recorded 19 wins, 26 losses, 6 holds, 139 saves, and a 3.19 ERA. He won the relief king with 42 saves in the 2022 season, and helped LG win the title in the 2023 season.

Ko Woo-seok entered the U.S. stage after the 2023 season, but the wall of the big league was high. He continued his career in the minor leagues, but was rarely called by the major leagues.
