LG Electronics is unveiling a comprehensive lineup of “AI Home” solutions at IFA 2026, Europe’s largest consumer electronics trade show, which opens in Berlin, Germany on the 4th (local time). The showcase demonstrates how artificial intelligence connects living spaces, products, and services into a unified ecosystem—moving beyond individual appliance AI features to signal a leap toward an integrated ecosystem that organically manages the entire home.

The exhibition, themed “Innovation in tune with you,” spans approximately 3,745 square meters. Around 150 core products are on display, centered on AI Home zones that recreate living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces as realistic living environments.

In the AI Home zones, the next-generation AI home hub “LG ThinQ ON” and the AI home platform “LG ThinQ” connect every element of the home. In the living room, the system pre-adjusts temperature and air quality based on arrival times and lifestyle patterns. In the kitchen, it suggests menus and cooking sequences based on available ingredients, family schedules, and dietary habits. In bedrooms and bathrooms, it adjusts air conditioning and lighting according to the next day’s schedule and sleep environment, and even manages ventilation and dehumidification after showers.

The autonomous AI agent “ThinQ Claw” is being unveiled for the first time. Embedded in ThinQ ON, this agent converses with users via chat, understands lifestyle patterns and situations, and proactively suggests and executes necessary functions. Users can remotely control home appliances through chat even when away from home, with support for integration with external services such as web search and calendars.

The “Homie” platform from At Home, a smart home platform company acquired in 2024, is also being prominently featured. Homie is an open platform capable of connecting more than 50,000 Internet of Things (IoT) devices including appliances, lighting, and sensors. LG has expanded it into a home energy management system (HEMS) that manages the entire home’s energy flow by integrating AI appliances, HVAC systems, solar power, and energy storage systems (ESS). The company also plans to leverage it as a business-to-business (B2B) solution for European multi-unit residential construction companies.

In commercial spaces, LG demonstrates B2B integrated management through “LG ThinQ Pro,” which enables unified management of appliances, HVAC, and energy equipment. Approximately 46% of the total exhibition area is dedicated to consultation spaces for local distributors and B2B customers—the largest private consultation area LG Electronics has ever arranged at IFA.

The new “Fit & Max” product line targeting the European market is also gathered in one place for the first time. The line combines “Fit,” representing designs that fit perfectly into spaces like built-in appliances, with “Max,” signifying maximized capacity, performance, and convenience. The range has expanded beyond its initial focus on refrigerators to include washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers.

Refrigerators feature a “Zero Clearance Hinge” that allows doors to open up to 110 degrees even when installed flush against cabinetry. Washing machines and dryers maintain the European standard furniture depth of 600mm while securing increased internal capacity, with space efficiency enhanced through the WashTower and the all-in-one WashCombo washer-dryer. Dishwashers incorporate a “Sliding Hinge Door” that reduces interference with lower cabinet panels during door operation, creating a seamless integrated look with kitchen counter lines.

AI-based high-efficiency technologies are also prominently featured. Key examples include “AI SenseClean,” which analyzes dish volume and soil levels to recommend wash cycles; “AI Wash & Dry,” which analyzes fabric types; and “AI Fresh,” which adjusts cooling operation based on usage patterns. On energy efficiency, washing machines achieve a 70% reduction in energy consumption compared to Europe’s highest A-grade standard, while dishwashers and refrigerators deliver additional savings of 30% and 35%, respectively. A new dryer launching in Europe later this year has improved efficiency from B-grade to A-grade.

In the media entertainment zone, a media gallery is centered on the 83-inch wireless wallpaper TV “LG SIGNATURE OLED W.” The 2026 LG OLED evo AI, Micro RGB evo, and UltraGear gaming monitors supporting Full HD resolution with a 1,000Hz refresh rate are also on display.

At the exhibition entrance, the home robot “LG CLOiD” conducts the “LG AI Orchestra” to welcome visitors. A kinetic LED structure measuring 16 meters wide by 4 meters tall, combined with home appliances, TVs, and HVAC products, expresses how products, technologies, and services connect into a single AI ecosystem through media art, lighting, and music. This symbolically demonstrates the future of the “Zero-Labor Home”—a vision of reducing household labor.

Baek Seung-tae, vice president and head of LG Electronics’ HS Business Division, said, “Through an expanded AI home ecosystem encompassing AI appliances, AI home hubs, and AI home platforms, we will solidify our leadership in the global premium home appliance market.”
