The ‘Twin Corps’ LG Twins continued to rise. Ko Woo-suk, who returned from the U.S. stage, reported his first save in his return.
LG, led by manager Yeom Kyung-yeop, defeated manager Park Jin-man’s Samsung Lions 4-3 in the 2026 professional baseball KBO League regular season home game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on the 4th.
LG, which has won five consecutive games, recorded 68 wins, one draw and 51 losses. Samsung, which has lost two consecutive games, has 70 wins, three draws and 46 losses.

Along with Carlos Carrasco, a pitcher who has 112 wins in the U.S. Major League Baseball (MLB), LG has made a starting list of Shin Min-jae (second baseman), Park Hae-min (middle fielder), Austin Dean (first baseman), Song Chan-ui (left fielder), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Moon Jung-bin (designated hitter), Koo Bon-hyuk (striker), Lee Joo-heon (catcher), and Hong Chang-ki (right fielder).
In response, Samsung built the lineup with Kim Ji-chan (center fielder), Kim Sung-yoon (right wing), Koo Ja-wook (designated hitter), Lewin Diaz (first baseman), Park Seung-gyu (left wing), Ryu Ji-hyuk (second baseman), Kang Min-ho (catcher), Kim Young-woong (third baseman), and Lee Jae-hyun (striker). At the beginning of the game, the opportunity came first to LG amid a tight pitching battle due to the good pitching of the starting pitchers of both teams. Hong Chang-ki’s walk and Shin Min-jae’s left-handed hit in the bottom of the third inning connected the runners at first and second bases with one out. After overcoming the crisis, Samsung succeeded in gaining the upper hand in the top of the fourth inning. Samsung, which gained momentum, added a point in the top of the sixth inning. Leadoff hitter Kim Ji-chan opened with a triple to the right. Kim Sung-yoon later struck out, but Koo Ja-wook hit a timely RBI left-handed hit.
However, LG was not easy. He turned the tables at once by decorating the bottom of the sixth inning with a big inning. It was also his 140th save in his KBO career.
In the batting lineup, Chun Sung-ho (1 hit and 1 RBI in 1 at-bats), the main character of the final hit, shone. In addition, Moon Bo-kyung (1 hit and 2 RBIs in 4 times at bat), Song Chan-eui (1 hit and 1 RBI in 3 times at bat), and Shin Min-jae (2 hits in 4 times at bat) also supported them solidly.
Samsung’s bullpen resource Lee Seung-min (one hit and one run in 0 innings) was painful. The first loss of the season (5 wins, 1 save, 19 holds). Starting pitcher Fedek (five strikeouts, three runs with four hits and two outs in 5.1 innings) pitched hard, but postponed his achievement of five wins (4 wins and two losses) of the season to the next opportunity.
