XRPL Korea on the 7th unveiled the second speaker lineup for “XRP Seoul 2026,” scheduled for October 3 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul. The roster includes founders and executives from global digital asset firms such as Evernorth, Flare, Doppler Finance, t54 Labs, Variational, and Squid. From South Korea, working-level executives from established financial institutions—Woori Bank, KakaoBank, K Bank, and Kyobo Securities—have joined in significant numbers.

Organizers had previously announced the participation of Ripple’s core leadership, including President Monica Long, Christina Chan, and Ayo Akinleye. This second lineup is notable for its broad coverage of the digital asset market’s latest themes, spanning real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, stablecoins, digital asset treasury (DAT), AI agentic payments, and RWA exchanges.

The Global Speaker Roster

From Doppler Finance, Rocks Park, head of institutional business, will take the stage. He is slated to present on liquidity in centralized exchanges and decentralized derivatives markets. In December of last year, Doppler Finance became the first XRP Ledger (XRPL) native protocol to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SBI Ripple Asia, a joint venture of Japan’s SBI Group.

Chandler Pang, founder of t54 Labs, will deliver a keynote on “agentic payments,” where AI agents execute transactions and payments on behalf of users. t54 Labs is currently building payment infrastructure supporting multiple blockchains, including XRPL, Solana, and Base. Pang previously worked in Ripple’s payments division and at JPMorgan Kinexys.

From Flare, co-founder and Flare Labs CEO Hugo Philion will participate. Flare is a Layer 1 blockchain that enables digital assets with limited smart contract functionality—such as XRP and Bitcoin (BTC)—to be utilized in decentralized finance (DeFi). The FXRP mainnet launched in September of last year drew market attention when its initial minting allocation of 5 million tokens was exhausted within four hours.

From Variational, Justin Bram, head of product, has joined as a speaker. Variational is an on-chain exchange that handles not only digital assets but also real-world assets including gold and stock indices, recording approximately $1 billion in daily trading volume and $200 billion in cumulative volume (approximately 269.1 trillion won) according to DeFiLlama. The platform recently launched swap products for gold and the Nasdaq 100, directly connecting traditional finance liquidity on-chain.

Evernorth founder and CEO Ashish Birla will participate in a panel discussion on traditional finance’s adoption of asset tokenization. A former early Ripple member, he is pursuing a Nasdaq listing through a SPAC merger with the goal of building a $1 billion (approximately 1.3 trillion won) XRP reserve. From Squid, co-founder Fig will discuss “the future of asset tokenization.” Squid is a cross-chain infrastructure company connecting swaps and settlements across dozens of blockchains, and serves as an official bridge partner for XRPL, operating validators and participating in network governance.

Perspectives from South Korea’s Financial Sector

The second speaker lineup also prominently features South Korean financial sector participants. Han Seung-hoon, deputy general manager at Woori Bank; Lee Han-gil, team lead at KakaoBank; Choi Jae-hyuk, head of K Bank’s Digital Asset Task Force; and Shin Hee-jin, director at Kyobo Securities, are set to share banking and securities industry perspectives on stablecoins and digital asset adoption. South Korean companies such as RiskX and Creder have also been named to the speaker roster.

An XRPL Korea representative said, “We have brought together leading companies that have proven their standing in the global market with South Korea’s established financial sector,” adding that “this will be a venue for everyone from institutions to individual investors to see the next phase of digital assets.”

Event Scale and Outlook

Last year’s XRP Seoul 2025, held at COEX in Seoul, drew over 100 companies and more than 3,000 attendees. This year, the event moves to the Grand Hyatt Seoul and is expected to be held on an even larger scale. The event is timed to coincide with Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2026, with Ripple participating as title sponsor.

This lineup is noteworthy for going beyond the XRP ecosystem to address themes across the broader digital asset market, including RWA tokenization, stablecoins, and AI payments. In particular, industry attention is expected to focus on the gathering of working-level executives from South Korea’s commercial banks, internet-only banks, and securities firms to discuss institutional finance’s digital asset adoption strategies.

Additional speakers, sponsors, and the detailed program will be announced sequentially. Tickets are available through MoveTicket, YES24, and Ticketlink.
