Convenience store chains CU and GS25 announced Tuesday that they are partnering with Coupang Eats to launch 24-hour late-night convenience store delivery.

Starting the 19th of this month, CU and GS25 will expand their convenience store delivery services to a 24-hour operating system. CU’s coverage areas include Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Gwangju, Busan and Daejeon — regions where Coupang Eats currently runs 24-hour delivery for participating stores. Customers in these areas can order roughly 8,000 items including lunch boxes, instant noodles, desserts, beverages and daily necessities through a CU-exclusive tab in Coupang Eats’ grocery and shopping menu, with no time restrictions.

CU is offering a 4,000 won discount on purchases of 20,000 won or more for first-time users of CU’s delivery service via Coupang Eats. The chain is also running ongoing promotions, including a 1,000 won discount on purchases of 20,000 won or more and a 1,500 won discount on purchases of 25,000 won or more.

GS25 is also expanding its 24-hour delivery service to major regions nationwide in response to growing late-night delivery demand. Through Coupang Eats, GS25 will roll out 24-hour delivery starting the 19th of this month at about 1,000 stores across Seoul, Gyeonggi and the country’s six major metropolitan cities, excluding some areas.

Building on its nationwide network of about 18,000 stores, GS25 is continuing to strengthen differentiated services, including quick commerce-exclusive promotions, an expanded lineup of delivery-only items such as pizza, chicken and tteokbokki, and a giveaway storage service.

The two leading convenience store chains are extending delivery to a 24-hour format because late-night delivery demand is growing rapidly. CU’s delivery sales during late-night hours (10 p.m. to 3 a.m.) grew 86.6% last year and 120% this year. At GS25, late-night delivery sales until 3 a.m. at about 2,500 stores have increased 42.7% over the past six months from November 2025 to the present.

“Through this 24-hour delivery expansion, we expect to provide greater convenience to customers and additional sales opportunities to franchisees,” said Shin Hak-dong, head of GS Retail’s O4O business strategy team. “Going forward, we will continue to evolve into a lifestyle platform that connects every aspect of customers’ daily lives by advancing our differentiated quick commerce services.”
