The periodic rebalancing of constituent stocks for the KOSPI 200, KOSDAQ 150, and KRX 300 indices has been finalized, with the changes taking effect on December 12.

The Korea Exchange (KRX) said Saturday that it had reviewed the periodic rebalancing of the KOSPI 200, KOSDAQ 150, and KRX 300 constituents at a Stock Index Operating Committee meeting held the previous day. As a result, four stocks will be replaced in the KOSPI 200, 16 in the KOSDAQ 150, and 45 in the KRX 300.

For the KOSPI 200, four stocks will be newly added and four will be removed. The new additions are HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, DB HiTek, Dalba Global, and OCI. The stocks being removed are GS E&C, Sebang Global Battery, GKL, and Green Cross Holdings. Following the rebalancing, the KOSPI 200 constituents will account for 94.9% of the total market capitalization of the KOSPI market.

For the KOSDAQ 150, Sampyo Cement, Hyundai Movex, Samhyun, Orum Therapeutics, Mirae Asset Venture Investment, and Wonik Holdings will be added. Sungeel HiTech, Eco&Dream, Kolmar BNH, Dongkook Pharmaceutical, and Miko will be removed. After the rebalancing, the KOSDAQ 150 constituents will represent 61.2% of the total market capitalization of the KOSDAQ market.

For the KRX 300, Sampyo Cement, Daehan Shipbuilding, Samhyun, Dalba Global, and Mirae Asset Life Insurance will be added, while Hanil Cement, S-1, DoubleU Games, Dongsuh, and Shift Up will be removed. After the rebalancing, the KRX 300 constituents will account for 96.0% of the combined market capitalization of the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets.
