IN celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day and the 77th year of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and South Korea, a multi-venue exhibition titled “Philippines-Korea: Enduring Friendship Through Art” will open across Seoul this June.
Organized to honor the cultural ties between the two nations, the exhibition features contemporary works from Filipino and Korean artists, highlighting shared perspectives, creativity, and cross-cultural dialogue.
The showcase will run simultaneously in three locations across Seoul. Gallery All in Insadong, Jongno-gu, will host the exhibition from June 3 to 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Gallery Alley in Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, will also run from June 3 to 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Philippine Showroom at the President Hotel in Jung-gu will open from June 5 to 7, 2026, from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The featured works include abstract pieces, portraits, landscapes, and mixed-media art that reflect themes of unity, resilience, and friendship. From Insadong to Gangnam and downtown Jung-gu, the exhibition presents diverse visual narratives that celebrate enduring bilateral ties.
The Philippine Embassy in Seoul invites the public and Filipino community to visit the galleries. Admission is free, offering an open celebration of art and friendship between the two nations.
