Industry prospects and implications

Participants also emphasize that both companies are looking for ways to strengthen supply chains and manufacturing capabilities in the semiconductor sector, which is especially important amid the ongoing shortage of components. Joint advancement of the cooperation plan could accelerate the deployment of new technologies in AI, computing, and robotics, and bolster investor confidence in the chip market.

Despite market uncertainty, it is important for the partners to maintain dialogue and continue detailing steps that will help ensure resilience of production and supply in the coming years.
