Hanwha Engineering & Construction has developed “FORENA Journey,” an integrated design that reimagines an apartment complex’s entire entrance route as a single journey, moving to strengthen its premium brand competitiveness.
On Monday, Hanwha Engineering & Construction announced it had newly unveiled FORENA Journey, which structures the entrance route running from the apartment entrance to the building’s doorway. The company plans to apply it gradually to complexes launched in the future.
The design was conceived to elevate the Hanwha FORENA brand experience to a more three-dimensional level. While the previously developed “FORENA Vista” focused on distant views of the building, FORENA Journey pays attention to the close-up views encountered while moving from the complex entrance to the building—that is, residents’ everyday routes. The key point is that it reinterprets a simple path of movement as a special journey.
In the main gate design, the bold color contrast of stone materials heightens visual presence, while the grandeur created by the combination of each structural element expresses the dignity of a premium complex. The brand pattern is rendered in stone on the sides of the main gate, and gradient-style LED lighting is softly applied to the ceiling, creating a differentiated atmosphere. The same stone used for the main gate is also applied to the parking garage entrance ramp leading from the front gate to the basement, maintaining brand unity throughout the space.
The building entrance design has also changed from before. Departing from the previous open structure, a screen wall has been introduced to give a neat and orderly impression from the outside while providing a cozy sense of stability inside. The placement of windows and trees between the screen walls also draws attention. The design allows residents passing through the entrance to naturally sense the flow of the wind and changes in sunlight, realizing a residential experience in touch with nature even in the city. A matte-textured material is applied to the basement parking entrance, consistently maintaining a calm yet luxurious tone.
