Coupang (CPNG) said Sunday it will hold “Wow Members Day,” its largest discount event of the year.
The event runs for seven days, from July 6 to July 12. Wow membership subscribers can receive Rocket Delivery products for free with no minimum purchase requirement, while Rocket Fresh offers unlimited free dawn delivery for purchases of 15,000 won or more.
An expanded revamp of the previous “Wow Big Sale,” “Wow Members Day” is Coupang’s flagship shopping festival, held only twice a year in July and November exclusively for Wow members. The event offers discounts on some 100,000 products from about 6,700 brands across 15 categories, ranging from fresh food, processed food and daily necessities to electronics and beauty, and also features benefit items priced at around half of market prices.
Coupang is also offering additional discounts and special brand deals for Wow members. During the event period, a “7,000 won discount coupon,” usable on purchases of 50,000 won or more, will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis twice daily at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Customers who use both daily coupons can save up to an additional 14,000 won per day.
“Wow Members Day is an event prepared with a focus on tangible benefits that customers can actually feel, in order to meaningfully ease the burden on customers’ shopping carts amid high prices,” a Coupang official said. “Going forward, Coupang will not only contribute to price stability but also do its best to ensure that Wow members can conveniently purchase the products they need at more reasonable prices.”
