Hansung Enterprise and Monami, which surged on a “patriotism theme” after facing delisting risk, have received a trading suspension warning and an investment-warning designation, respectively.

On the 14th, the Korea Exchange (KRX) said investors should be cautious with Hansung Enterprise, currently designated as an investment-warning stock, as its shares could be suspended from trading if the price rises further. The suspension warning date is set for the 15th. If that day’s closing price rises 40% or more from the closing price on the 13th and is higher than the closing price on the day before its investment-warning designation, trading will be suspended for one day on the 16th. Monami was designated as an investment-warning stock, the stage preceding a trading suspension warning.

The two stocks are cited as representative “good companies” that recently faced the risk of being expelled from the market due to tightened delisting standards. After the Korea Exchange raised the market capitalization requirement for maintaining a KOSPI listing to 30 billion won this month, concerns arose over the delisting of these companies.
