Marvin Cecil Joseph Eddy, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on July 20, 2026 at the age of 88 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia; his parents James and Hazel Eddy; in-laws John and Lena Reiger; brothers, Patrick Eddy, Laverene Eddy; sisters Carol Bloor, and Donna Kittleson; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marvin will be loving remembered by his partner of 29 years, Betty Pond; his children: Blair (Keri) Eddy of Calgary, AB and children, Ryder, Allegra; Dion (Holly) Eddy of Regina, SK and children, Berkley, Brooklyn; Simone Eddy of Bowmanville, ON; Shauna (Cary) Wock of Hitchcock, SK and children Madelynn, Victoria, stepchildren Paige (Owen) Hanson, Carisa (Ryan) and their daughter Rylee Kraushaar; Marcia (Dan) Schmidt of Estevan, SK and children Andrew (Amanda), Kate, Mason; siblings, Marlene Stack, Lyle (Phyllis) Eddy, Neil (Dianne) Eddy, Elaine Frederick, Ronald (Shirley) Eddy; sister-in-Law, Myrna Eddy, Debbie (Glen) Almasi, Marlene Ludwar; Betty’s children, spouses and grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. from the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine.
Interment will be held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK with luncheon to follow at McKenna Hall, Weyburn, SK.
