This state-backed program, funded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources along with the Korea Planning &amp; Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT), aims to finance the creation of fundamental and core technologies and equipment for shipbuilding and offshore facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The company was appointed as the lead R&amp;D entity for a project titled &#8216;development and demonstration of core technologies for an intelligent Autonomous Driving transporter for ultra-large block transport to shift the smart ship manufacturing paradigm,&#8217; which falls under new shipbuilding assignments.
