\"<p>TheThe company said the recognition reinforces its commitment to developing world-class manufacturing facilities that combine advanced engineering with employee-centric workplace design.Hyundai Motor India Ltd.<\/a> (HMIL) on Friday said its Pune manufacturing plant<\/a> has won the 2026 Red Dot Brand & Communication Design Award in the Interior Architecture category, becoming the first automotive manufacturing plant in the world to receive the recognition for the design of its employee office and support facilities.<\/p>\n

The company said the award recognises its efforts to create a human-centric workplace that combines design, employee well-being<\/a>, collaboration, sustainability and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

Human-centric design at the core<\/p>\n

According to HMIL, the office space was designed after studying the needs of its workforce, including a younger employee base, increasing gender diversity and collaborative work practices. The facility features a mix of focused workspaces and open collaboration zones, dedicated mother care and meditation rooms, flexible meeting spaces, and shared storage solutions for manufacturing operations.<\/p>\n

Built around biophilic architecture<\/a>, the workplace incorporates interior landscaping, a courtyard-centric layout and upcycled terrazzo flooring to create a nature-connected and environmentally responsible workspace.<\/p>\n
