It\u2019s the first series project that the pair have created together. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tFX Productions and Legendary Television are behind A Really Bad Person. The show\u2019s logline describes it as \u201ca drama about a very relatable American girl who does the most unrelatable thing while visiting London \u2014 she pretends to be the missing daughter of a British family. It\u2019s a last-ditch effort to gain citizenship, a fresh start, and escape her complicated past.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tJimenez and McMechan will also executive produce the pilot along with Sharon Hall, David Finkel and Brett Baer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tJimenez and McMechan wrote KPop Demon Hunters with co-directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. Since that Netflix film\u2019s breakout success, which includes two Oscars (best animated film and best original song) and a viewing record for the streamer, they have penned the horror comedy Youth Juice signed on to write the screenplay for Tim Burton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/kpop-demon-hunters-attack-of-the-fifty-foot-woman-1236468039\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Attack of the 50-Foot Woman<\/a> remake. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tA Really Bad Person joins a slate of FX development projects that also includes Hopeless, a comedy from Jeff Chan and It\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-creator\/star Rob Mac, and a drama about National Park rescue volunteers based on a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/magazine\/2026\/01\/19\/the-backcountry-rescue-squad-at-americas-busiest-national-park\" target=\"_blank\">New Yorker story<\/a>. FX has also recently placed series orders for (among others) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/sadie-sink-fx-marriage-plot-series-jeffrey-eugenides-1236613850\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Marriage Plot<\/a>, based on the Jeffrey Eugenides novel and starring Sadie Sink; drama <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/elizabeth-olsen-seven-sisters-ordered-series-fx-hulu-1236452483\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Seven Sisters<\/a> with Elizabeth Olsen; Far Cry, based on the video game and created by FX veterans Noah Hawley and Rob Mac; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/very-young-frankenstein-series-order-fx-1236598953\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Very Young Frankenstein<\/a>, a comedy based on the classic Mel Brooks movie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two of the writers of KPop Demon Hunters have landed their next project at FX.
