It vows mutual aid if either country faces aggression.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">Kim has sent thousands of troops and huge supplies of weapons to support Putin\u2019s invasion of Ukraine. One strike hit the grounds of a children\u2019s hospital, leaving two craters and shattering windows, the State Emergency Service said. Children and medical workers were in bomb shelters and nobody was hurt, it added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">At another location in the capital, a Russian strike started a fire in a warehouse that spread across nearly 13,000 square feet, according to emergency officials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">The Russian Defence Ministry said that its forces overnight struck \u201cmilitary industrial facilities and transport and logistics centres\u201d in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia with \u201cground-based precision weapons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">It said in a statement Tuesday that it hit drone storage facilities in Kyiv and a metallurgical plant in the city of Zaporizhzhia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">Russia targeted Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv with Zircon anti-ship missiles and Iskander ballistic missiles, while launching 120 long-range strike drones of various types across the country, Ukraine\u2019s air force said.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"display:block\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/resizer\/v2\/E2ZWPVN3TNAZ3M34ZOBGNBAKOE.JPG?auth=f873732171c53d8c358847b1c37cd0756229bad2abb323bf4f3baeae39aee674&amp;width=600&amp;height=400&amp;quality=80&amp;smart=true\" aria-haspopup=\"true\" data-photo-viewer-index=\"3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Open this photo in gallery:<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"figcap-text\">Zelensky says Russian forces used ballistic missiles supplied by North Korea in their overnight attack on the southeastern Ukraine city of Zaporizhzhia.Stringer\/Reuters<\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s biggest e-commerce company hit again<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">Meanwhile, the Russian Defence Ministry said that its air defences overnight intercepted almost 400 Ukrainian drones over 14 Russian regions and occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">Russia\u2019s biggest online retailer, Wildberries, said in a statement that its logistical facilities in the Voronezh region on the border with Ukraine came under attack and caught fire, but it said the fire has been extinguished. It said goods stored at the facilities were \u201clargely undamaged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">Ukraine has repeatedly struck Wildberries warehouses and has also bombarded Russian oil facilities in what it says is a strategy to compel Putin to negotiate an end to the invasion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-article-body__text text-pr-5\">Russian independent online outlet Astra said an oil refinery in the city of Orsk, some 1,300 kilometres from the border with Ukraine, was hit and published images of smoke billowing over it.
