The strategy aims to strengthen AWS-based cloud service offerings amid growing demand for digital transformation among public institutions.<\/p>\n<p>LG Uplus announced on the 12th that it has officially registered its AWS cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) brokerage service, &#8220;LG Uplus Brokerage Service for Amazon Web Services,&#8221; on the Digital Service Support System. The Digital Service Support System is a public sector-exclusive platform where government agencies, local governments, and public institutions can search for and contract digital services, including cloud IaaS, Software as a Service (SaaS), and cloud support services. New services must pass a review by the Ministry of Science and ICT&#8217;s Digital Service Review Committee before being listed on the system.<\/p>\n<p>With this registration, the public sector can now access LG Uplus&#8217;s AWS cloud infrastructure brokerage service through the Digital Service Support System, providing LG Uplus with a foundation to expand its public cloud business.<\/p>\n<p>Drawing on its cloud deployment and operational expertise, along with experience managing its own telecommunications infrastructure, LG Uplus plans to help institutions adopt AWS services tailored to their internal standards and operational requirements. Key use cases include civil service consultation and work support chatbots utilizing generative AI, AI-powered information retrieval services, and database construction for managing statistical and administrative data.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, LG Uplus intends to expand its services to support the entire digital innovation lifecycle for the public sector.
