Hyundai Motor Group is continuing its support program for firefighters by donating an ambulance and rehabilitation equipment to National Fire Hospital, the country’s first medical institution dedicated to firefighters.<\/p>\n

Hyundai Motor Group said on the 12th that it delivered vehicles and rehabilitation equipment at the opening ceremony of National Fire Hospital in Eumseong County, North Chungcheong Province, on the 11th. It also features a walk-through structure that allows movement between the driver’s seat and the patient compartment, along with a high interior ceiling and a low step height to improve convenience for patient transport and treatment in emergencies.<\/p>\n

X-ble MEX is a medical wearable robot developed in-house by Hyundai Motor Group Robotics LAB. It assists the walking of patients with lower-body paralysis and people with disabilities, supporting rehabilitation therapy and gait training. The robot can perform five movements: walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, and turning left or right. Hyundai Motor Group has also expanded its support programs for firefighters. Since 2023, it has donated 10 recovery support vehicles to fire headquarters across the country.
