The Korea Exchange announced on the 12th that it has announced the designation of 36 managed stocks whose stock prices have remained below 1,000 won for the last 30 trading days or have fallen short of the market capitalization standard to maintain the listing.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the financial authorities established a requirement to delist coin stocks as a way to improve the constitution of the domestic stock market. If the stock price is less than 1,000 won for 30 consecutive trading days or below the market capitalization standard from the 1st of last month, it will be designated as a management item, and if it does not exceed the standard of “45 consecutive trading days” or more during the 90 trading days, it will be finally delisted.<\/p>\n

Three securities markets and 21 KOSDAQ markets are designated as management stocks due to “copper stocks” with less than 1,000 won in stock prices.<\/p>\n

A total of nine stocks, including five securities markets and four KOSDAQ stocks, were not included in the standard of coin stocks, but they continued to fall short of the market capitalization standard of 30 billion won on the KOSPI and 20 billion won on the KOSDAQ.<\/p>\n

In addition, there were three stocks (one KOSPI and two KOSDAQ) whose stock price was less than KRW 1,000 for 30 trading days and did not meet the standard of market capitalization.<\/p>\n
