North Korea has threatened to answer upcoming US-South Korean military exercises with a \u201cnew level of deterrent\u201d, as the allies prepare to train against a force hardened by Pyongyang\u2019s deployment to Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
The annual Ulchi Freedom Shield exercises will begin on Monday and run for 11 days, bringing together about 18,000 South Korean troops and personnel from the 28,500-strong US military contingent stationed in the country.<\/p>\n
It comes as frontrunners line up to take on one of the most high profile roles in the White House after Mr Trump announced his press secretary Karoline Leavitt would step down at the end of the month.<\/p>\n
Ms Leavitt has become well known for sparring with journalists. She has only weeks ago returned from maternity leave.<\/p>\n
The US President is putting pressure on politicians to make daylight savings permanent. <\/p>\n
He said on Thursday, US time, that people were \u201csick and tired\u201d of changing clocks and cities found changing the time on \u201cwatchtowers\u201d hard. <\/p>\n
He also said an hour\u2019s more light in the evening would \u201creduce murders\u201d, a claim which has little data to back it up. <\/p>\n
The Kennedy Centre has voted to put Donald Trump\u2019s name back on the building\u2019s exterior \u2013 that’s despite a judge demanding it be removed. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Mr Trump\u2019s approval rating has crashed to its lowest level ever recorded by the Economist\/YouGov poll across either of his presidential terms.<\/p>\n
