SUVs pay the bills, that much is settled, but the new Elantra\u2019s heavier-set styling would sit well under a longer roof, particularly in a performance trim.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2026\/08\/chevrolet-camaro-sedan-revival-2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chevy\u2019s Camaro Has Always Had Two Doors. Its Revival Might Have Four<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A wagon is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2026\/06\/wagons-discontinued-hyundai\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">officially off the cards<\/a>, but that hasn\u2019t stopped us stretching the roof ourselves and finishing the job in N Performance trim. Large alloys and red brake callipers help fill the wheel arches, while black mirror caps and exaggerated side skirts reinforce the go-fast intent. And none are sold in North America. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Future Cars: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2026\/07\/skoda-octavia-next-generation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Skoda\u2019s Next Octavia Wagon Looks Better Rendered Than It Has Any Right To<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Look further up the ladder and the comparison starts flattering Hyundai. For anyone priced out of the Audi RS6 Avant and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/BMW\/\" title=\"BMW\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"auto-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">BMW<\/a> M5 Touring, an Elantra N wagon would scratch the same itch for under a third of the money, with half the cylinders and most of what draws buyers to those cars in the first place.
