{"id":12491,"date":"2026-05-11T11:45:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:45:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/12491\/"},"modified":"2026-05-11T11:45:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:45:07","slug":"somnath-temple-symbol-of-indias-spiritual-strength-lg-sinha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/12491\/","title":{"rendered":"Somnath Temple symbol Of India\u2019s spiritual strength: LG Sinha"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Srinagar, May 11(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said the Somnath Temple stands as a symbol of India\u2019s spiritual strength and resilience despite repeated invasions and destruction over centuries.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a public event after performing puja on the occasion of Somnath Swabhiman Parv at Lok Bhavan, Sinha said the temple had remained \u201ca guiding light ushering Bharat towards new horizons\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the consecration of the rebuilt Somnath on May 11, 1951, to this day, this centre of faith has ignited the deepest spirit in every Indian,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The lieutenant governor said Somnath represented India\u2019s rich spiritual and cultural heritage and had always awakened new possibilities across the nation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomnath embodies the divinity of our land. Somnath is eternal prayer. Somnath is inseparable from our culture and its sanctity lives in every Indian heart,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInvaders and rulers from Mahmud Ghaznavi to Alauddin Khilji and Zafar Khan plundered and razed it time and again. Yet, despite repeated destruction, Somnath endured in our collective soul,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He paid tribute to rulers and leaders associated with the temple\u2019s preservation and reconstruction, including Bhim Dev, Jayapal, Anandpal, Maharaja Dharsen, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Rajendra Prasad.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sinha said the rebuilding of the temple symbolised \u201cinner victory\u201d and a \u201clamp of faith and resolve burning for millennia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomnath Temple is a beacon of the nation.
