Yonhap

People Power Party Leader Chang Dong-hyuk criticized the government’s preliminary investigation into the attack on a Korean-operated vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, saying a crucial word was missing from the findings. “The two letters that must be included in the government’s initial investigation results are missing. That word is Iran,” he said.

Chang made the remarks at a Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, on Tuesday. “Even when the attacker confesses, is the victim claiming otherwise?” he said.

Chang particularly pointed out that “even though U.S. President Trump called it an attack, our government insisted the possibility of an attack was low.” He added, “The Lee Jae-myung Blue House went further, claiming it was a ship fire.”

“Now that the attack has been confirmed, they say they will not prejudge who was responsible,” he continued. “Are they suggesting it was an attack by an unidentified flying object (UFO)?”

Chang also said, “This administration even handed money over to Iran. That money may have come back as the drone that attacked our vessel.”

“President Lee Jae-myung brought fake news to attack Israel, yet remains tight-lipped even after our vessel was struck,” he said.

He added, “At a time when our sailors’ safety is at risk, he was posting on social media about real estate at midnight. President Lee Jae-myung has no will to protect the safety and property of our citizens.”

Jang Dong-hyuk, leader of the People Power Party, speaks at a Supreme Council meeting at the National Assembly…

[5
5720,9375,114,31,9374,146,191,9373,33,116
post-12569","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-south-korea","tag-chang-dong-hyuk","tag-drone-attack","tag-iran","tag-korea","tag-korean-vessel","tag-lee-jae-myung","tag-people-power-party","tag-ship-attack","tag-south-korea","tag-strait-of-hormuz
["GET
