SAN FRANCISCO \u2014 Genesis unveiled the GV90, its first full-size flagship electric sport utility vehicle, at a world premiere held at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on the 19th local time.<\/p>\n
Euisun Chung, Executive Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group (005380.KS), stressed the philosophy that “true luxury lies in value, not price.” He said what the company was unveiling was “not simply a new vehicle, but a new vision for luxury mobility.” Chung described the GV90 as representing the best of Genesis and the start of a new journey, saying the company would “continue to expand boundaries, drive progress and redefine what luxury mobility can be.”<\/p>\n
The new lineup includes two versions: the GV90 Neolun, which features coach doors, and the standard GV90 with swing doors. The Neolun applies the world’s first independently opening coach doors, along with roof airbags and a powered tailgate curtain. Fitted with a 123.5 kWh high-nickel NCA (nickel-cobalt-aluminum) battery, it can travel 500 kilometers on a single charge in the seven-seat configuration.<\/p>\n
Combined maximum output from the front and rear motors reaches 490 kW, with peak torque of 800 Nm, the highest performance among Hyundai Motor’s electric vehicles. With an overall length of 5,285 millimeters and a wheelbase of 3,245 millimeters, the vehicle offers ample interior space.
