The initiative is hosted and sponsored by SK Innovation and organized by Qnesty Foundation, which has expertise in impact investment and accelerating.

The core of the program is to provide integrated support across the entire process — from idea discovery to nurturing, commercialization, and investment linkage — rather than stopping at simply identifying ideas. The 10 selected teams will receive step-by-step support necessary for commercialization, including proof-of-concept development funds, expert mentoring in each field, commercialization support, and follow-on investment linkage.

Teams selected as top solutions will receive up to 20 million won in funding for follow-up commercialization and advancement. In the second year of the program, top teams will receive additional support for commercialization, including linkage to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Tech Incubator Program for Startup (TIPS) and impact investors.

Applications are accepted in two tracks: “AI for Energy” and “AI for Social Issues.” The “AI for Energy” track targets AI-based solutions that contribute to solving energy-related problems such as energy access, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction. The “AI for Social Issues” track invites ideas for addressing social issues including care, safety, environment, mobility rights, and education.

Individuals or teams of up to five people can apply. Companies and social economy organizations must have been established within the past three years. Teams that include socially disadvantaged members will be given preference.

“AI technology is creating innovative changes that go beyond industrial innovation to address various social issues,” an SK Innovation official said. “We will ensure that practical social value is created through effective support from idea validation to commercialization.”

Poster recruiting teams for “AI Impact Solution.” Photo courtesy of SK Innovation SK Innovation (096770.KS) is seeking solutions…

[23
9477,9478,9475,9481,9479,9476,241,240,1363,9480
post-12762","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-sk","tag-ai-for-energy","tag-ai-for-social-issues","tag-ai-impact-solution","tag-impact-investment","tag-korea-startup-program","tag-qnesty-foundation","tag-sk","tag-sk-group","tag-sk-innovation","tag-tips
["GET
