Established and rising stars are mulling offers to appear in a range of K-dramas on the horizon, including a zombie horror, an inheritance drama, a fantasy romance and a culinary-themed period drama.<\/p>\n

We Are the Zombies<\/p>\n

Doh Kyung-soo and Kim Do-yeon are both currently in talks to appear in the touted zombie drama We Are the Zombies.<\/p>\n

Set in Seoul Tower, a fictional shopping centre, the series follows a zombie outbreak where characters unable to escape in time must find a way to coexist with the undead. Doh and Kim have been offered the parts of Kim In-jong and Kim So-young, two of the survivors trapped inside.<\/p>\n

Kim, also a singer, first became known as a member of the group I.O.I and later Weki Meki. She has been building her screen career over the past few years, notably appearing as the title character in Dora (2026) from acclaimed filmmaker July Jung, which debuted in the Directors\u2019 Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival in May.<\/p>\n

Seorabeol KnifePopular heartthrob Cha Eun-woo<\/a> has been offered the leading role in Seorabeol Knife, a spin-off of 2025\u2019s hit cooking-themed period drama Bon App\u00e9tit, Your Majesty<\/a>, which reached a peak viewership rating of 17.1 per cent.<\/p>\n

While Bon App\u00e9tit stars Im Yoon-ah and Lee Chae-min are not expected to return, the new story will unfold in the same universe. The projects also share a director: Jang Tae-yoo, known for global hits like My Love from the Star.<\/p>\n
