His disapproval rating increased by the same margin to 56.9%, according to the Korea Herald.<\/p>\n<p>Realmeter attributed the decline to growing public dissatisfaction with the government\u2019s housing policies, political disputes involving judicial and constitutional issues, and security concerns following the reduction of joint military exercises between South Korea and the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The pollster also reported declining support for Lee among conservative voters and those aged 70 and older.<\/p>\n<p>A separate Realmeter survey conducted Aug. 20-21 among 1,009 adults showed support for the ruling Democratic Party of Korea falling by 6 percentage points to 41.9%.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, backing for the opposition People Power Party increased by 4.5 percentage points to 37.6%, significantly narrowing the gap between the two parties.<\/p>\n<p>Both surveys were conducted using wireless automated response systems.
