However, one of the world\u2019s most notorious cyber actors is notably missing from the target list: North Korea.<\/p>\n<p>The White House\u2019s effort to combat \u201ctransnational cyber-enabled crime,\u201d outlined in a memo issued Aug. 12, authorizes the use of vetted private firms to combat transnational cybercrime posing a growing threat to American citizens, businesses and national security.<\/p>\n<p>The move represents a significant step for Washington\u2019s cyber strategy, by leveraging<\/p>\n<p>\u00a9 Korea Risk Group.
