{"id":132921,"date":"2026-08-26T14:27:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T14:27:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/132921\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T14:27:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T14:27:09","slug":"hyundai-set-to-introduce-41-new-models-as-it-announces-european-sales-offensive-the-irish-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/132921\/","title":{"rendered":"Hyundai set to introduce 41 new models as it announces European sales offensive \u2013 The Irish News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Hyundai has set out ambitious plans which will see it introduce 41 new European models in a bid to reach 420,000 in annual sales by 2030.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Korean brand will introduce a wide range of new models to combat rising Chinese dominance in the segment, with many of these new vehicles arriving as \u2018all new products or entries into new market segments\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They\u2019ll include a new global B-segment SUV, and another B-segment SUV designed specifically for Europe. In Europe, Hyundai aims to cover \u201885 per cent of the market with a fully electrified portfolio\u2019 including five new SUVs and light commercial vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Hyundai also says that it will add 1.27 million units of global manufacturing capacity in an effort to reach its targets, with 500,000 additional vehicles being made in North America alone.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"c-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishnews.com\/life\/helen-skelton-i-exercise-to-keep-my-head-peachy-rather-than-my-bum-peachy-OHCLPPUJVNNJPKXWVUC2U2UGGY\/\" aria-hidden=\"true\" tabindex=\"-1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"Helen Skelton: &#x2018;I exercise to keep my head peachy, rather than my bum peachy&#x2019;\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/7CRBMEYN4RJ4VM3AC6DMFPOTWA.jpg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Jos\u00e9 Mu\u00f1oz, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, said: \u201cOur fundamentals have never been stronger. Hyundai Motor Group is the third-largest automotive group and the second-most profitable, which gives us the ability to invest while others are pulling back.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"Genesis has just launched its GV90 flagship\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/LEA2V2CZPZPH7GLR3JCONQXUSM.jpg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"600\"\/>Genesis has just launched its GV90 flagship <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe are bringing more than 100 new models to market by 2030 with multiple powertrain options and raising our operating margin above 9 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Genesis, the luxury sub-brand of Hyundai, will also look to expand its presence, having just launched its new GV90 flagship SUV.
