This forms part of a global capacity expansion of 1.27 million units.\u201cWe are bringing more than 100 new models to market by 2030 with multiple powertrain options,\u201d said Jos\u00e9 Mu\u00f1oz, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company.The 100-plus vehicle launch and refresh programme includes 58 launches in North America, 49 in Korea, 41 in Europe, 26 in India and 22 in China. Many of these will be all-new products or entries into new market segments.The company plans to launch an all-new Creta, i10 and an A-segment electric SUV as part of its 2030 product programme, while its luxury brand Genesis may also come to India in the near future.The company will launch a new electric SUV in India during the December 2026 quarter, followed by a new ICE-powered mid-size SUV.India currently has manufacturing capacity of 1.1 million vehicles a year, making it one of Hyundai\u2019s major global production hubs. The company plans to increase local sourcing from 84% now to more than 90% by 2030, supported by a network of more than 1,400 local suppliers and over 900 engineers.Hyundai sees its Indian operations as a centralised hub for emerging markets, offering competitive production scale and flexibility. It expects to export around 30% of vehicles produced in India by 2030, targeting markets across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and South America.The India strategy comes against the backdrop of Hyundai\u2019s broader target of 5.55 million global vehicle sales by 2030, with electrified vehicles expected to account for 60% of its sales mix, compared with 23% in 2025.
