{"id":136255,"date":"2026-08-29T16:53:19","date_gmt":"2026-08-29T16:53:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/136255\/"},"modified":"2026-08-29T16:53:19","modified_gmt":"2026-08-29T16:53:19","slug":"byron-donalds-to-make-doral-swing-with-new-lg-pick-bryan-avila","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/136255\/","title":{"rendered":"Byron Donalds to make Doral swing with new LG pick Bryan \u00c1vila"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Byron Donalds, the Republican nominee for Florida Governor and a current U.S. Representative, will meet with voters in Doral this weekend as part of Donalds\u2019 Florida Dream Tour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This time, he\u2019ll be accompanied by newly minted Lieutenant Governor nominee Bryan \u00c1vila.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two members of the GOP gubernatorial ticket will stop at Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine, located at 8552 NW 53rd St. in Doral, on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Donalds <a href=\"https:\/\/floridapolitics.com\/archives\/789014-byron-donalds-to-kick-off-defending-the-florida-dream-tour-in-the-villages\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">kicked off<\/a> the \u201cDefending the Florida Dream\u201d tour in April. The statewide tour is designed to tackle the issues that matter most to Floridians, according to Donalds\u2019 campaign. Donalds has also used events to offer \u201ca roadmap for protecting the Florida Dream and making it attainable for the next generation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Previous events have addressed other pocketbook issues, such as insurance premiums, property taxes and hidden government fees that continue to \u201csqueeze\u201d household budgets. Donalds has also addressed public safety, education, including school choice and parental rights, and expanding economic opportunities in the state.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/savevirginiakey.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-813234 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Unknown-3-e1786487380335.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Donalds <a href=\"https:\/\/floridapolitics.com\/archives\/816595-avila-donalds\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">selected \u00c1vila<\/a> as his running mate this week, kicking off a General Election campaign that will see the pair square off against Democrat David Jolly and running mate Gwen Graham in November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c1vila has already resigned from the Senate, where he was known for putting muscle behind a series of high-profile bills: the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/floridapolitics.com\/archives\/518717-gov-desantis-signs-stop-w-o-k-e-act-as-legal-challenge-looms\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Stop WOKE Act<\/a>\u201d in 2022; the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/floridapolitics.com\/archives\/669084-gov-desantis-signs-measure-creating-no-go-zone-around-first-responders\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Halo bill<\/a>,\u201d which established a 25-foot buffer zone around first responders; and a new statute, effective July 1, banning localities from promoting \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/floridaphoenix.com\/2026\/02\/25\/proposal-to-ban-local-governments-from-promoting-net-zero-emission-policies-moves-to-house\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer nofollow\">net zero<\/a>\u201d emission policies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also has sponsored data center legislation, touching on an issue that Jolly and Democrats have tried to exploit as a wedge, just as Donalds\u2019 opponents did before the August Primary.<\/p>\n<p>Donalds and Jolly both emerged victorious last week in their respective Primary Elections.<\/p>\n<p>___<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/floridapolitics.com\/archives\/785509-florida-taps-icf-for-comprehensive-management-services-bringing-proven-expertise-to-statewide-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-795634 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/korea\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/florida-campaign-florida-politics-display-ad-728x90px.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"97\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A.G.
